Last Saturday we went to Nazurah's paternal grandmother's house. Her block is nearby the National stadium. Every year we get to see the jets and fireworks LIVE from her house's corridor. There was a practice for the National Day parade at the stadium that day.
Usually when the sound of jets and helicopters were heard, i will rush to carry Nazurah to get her look at the jets and helicopters. She will either get scared or was not looking at where im pointing or even showed interest..
Last Saturday was very different. While covering her ears with her hands, she ran out the door and stood at the corridor looking up to the sky. Her grandmother's house door is always open because my sister in law lives next door so 6 kids and adults are always coming in and out of these 2 houses. I had to run after her and as i carried her i was not looking at the jetplane or helicopters but i was looking at her eyes and it was the happiest sight of all because i see her for the first time really looking at those noisy things in the sky!
I am looking forward to spending National Day at my in laws house because i want to see her running to look at those noisy things in the sky again.
