My dad love n hate nutriiveda

I was surprised when he asked for a canister of nutriiveda in june. he had not drank it consistently coz its a chore to him. Whenever I asked him whether he had drank it or not, he ignored my question or shooed me away so as not to bother him.

So when he himself asked for it, of course i need to know why the sudden change. He has diabetes and he likes to cook. Sometimes when he cooks he got injured either by getting bumps and bruises or a cut by the knife. His bruises heals slowly and his arm looks ugly with blue blacks spots here n there.

He said he noticed that when he drank nutriiveda his bruises and wounds heals faster. he thought its the traditional oil that he uses to rub on it that works on the bruises but it didnt work as fast as usual when he stopped drinking nutriiveda.

So now he acknowledged that nutriiveda somehow or other is benefitting him. He stil cant stand drinking it everyday but now he is motivated even more to drink on his own. I dont need to urge him anymore ;-)

The light at the end of the tunnel

I can finally see that the light is clearer now. The first award awarded to Nazurah from her school is a confirmation and motivation for me to perservere on for her sake and never to give up on her. It made me feels good that im not delusional about her progress and improvements. Others noticed it too and acknowledged her milestone achievements. A late bloomer but better than never.

I believe Nutriveda plays a part too. She took full dose of 2 scoops twice a day when she started about june 2010. Stopped awhile in dec 2010 to see any reaction. In Jan 2011 onwards she took 2 heaping scoops once a day again.

Her cognitive improves alot. This year she could blow her birthday candles with no problem at all too. She could write and copy from the whiteboard. Could be on seat to complete simple assignments. She vocalizes more and attempts at following my mouth movements to talk!

There are still alot to improve in. Im just so glad she is progressing and not stagnant. Do give her your prayers and may she progress more and found success and independence in life and good health. Amin.
